Summer Bible Study and Supper::Tuesdays at 6pm. 

During July, we're doing Bible study on 1st, 2nd & 3rd John and a two-dollar dinner!  Downstairs in the original student center.

Our main event during the school year... 
     Insight Bible Study & Worship – Tuesdays, 8pm  Meeting in our new Worship Center!  Insight is our main weekly worship event, with live music, Bible study, and warm Wesley fellowship.  Wesley’s new Worship Center is located down the hill and behind our student center on East Lee Boulevard next to Campus Book Mart.  INSIGHT RESTARTS AUGUST 24.

Welcome Events for Freshmen & Transfer Students

• Thursday, August 12 – 11:30 a.m.  Meet at Wesley to meet new friends, to get info about Wesley Foundation, and to go to Bulldog Lanes for a Starkville favorite…Lunch-and-Bowl!  It’s all free!
• Friday, August 13 – 6:30 p.m.  Friday Night Fellowship at Wesley.  Food, a devotional message, fun and games, and campus tours led by Wesley students representing various majors.
  
• Sunday, August 15 – 9:30 a.m.  Meet at Wesley to go to church with other students. Sunday, August 15 – 6:30 p.m.  Game Night in the Colvard Union.  Look for the Wesley group in the food court or in the Dawg House.
  
• Tuesday, August 17 – 6:00 p.m.  Join other students at Wesley for a special event that’s part cook-out and part worship!  Here’s a great way to get ready for the first day of classes by fellowshipping  with friends and worshipping our great God!     

J U M P S T A R T – Aug 19-22!  Jumpstart is a big weekend packed with special events to help jumpstart faith and friendship.  Join us for any Jumpstart event you can.  There’s no need to sign up.  Just show up! 
+ 8/19   7:00 p.m.  New Student Night at Wesley!  A special event just for freshmen and transfers.  Free food, worship, fellowship with new friends at Wesley Foundation.
+ 8/20   6:00-9:00 p.m.  Meet at Wesley for a great time of fellowship, food, student testimonies, worship music, & a message to jumpstart your new school year spiritually.
+ 8/21   9:00 a.m.  Mission Day.  Meet at Wesley for a light breakfast and a devotion before we move out for a day of mission work in the community.  Possible Jumpstart mission projects include home repair, yard work, Habitat for Humanity, painting, nursing home visitation, and more.  Projects will end by 3:00.
+ 8/21   5:00-9:00 p.m.  Progressive Dinner to Starkville United Methodist Churches.  Meet at Wesley at 5:00 sharp for a big time of fellowship.  We’ll load up on buses and visit churches for dinner…one course at a time!
+ 8/22   9:30 a.m.  Meet at Wesley to go to church with Wesley friends. 

Mission Project in Ghana, Africa -- May to August, 2010.  Lift up prayer for our group as they serve in Africa.  Four team members served May 3-10.  Four other team members are serving until August. Go to www.gospeltoghana.com for more info on the project and on team members.
